You mentioned that it might go to the P on the fuel pump for pulse, this already has a line and per the fuel diagram in my manual it goes to the carb. There a large vent hose on the transmission that goes all the way to the front and I don’t see a nipple where a smaller hose would attach. I’ll check the service manual and see if that helps.
