August 12: drive to puna district (ahalanui heated pools, hike out to see the lava or take a boat) and then to hilo. Stay in hilo. August 13: hilo,farmers market,etc. hike to akaka falls. Drive to kona along the north shore, stop at some beaches (or get a flight from Hilo and spend more time there).Easter Brunch isn't a huge thing here. The Hapuna Prince does one, but I don't like their food. The atmosphere is nice though. There are several places that do a nice Sunday brunch and they might be amped up a bit or have some specialties for the holiday. The best is at ULU at the Four Seasons.

Can't recommend a commercial Luau on the Big Island. Waikoloa Beach Resort has Hula Halau at the Queen's marketplace Mon/Weds/Fri. King's shops also presents a Hula performance on most Friday evenings . There are also wonderful musical artists and performers including the ever popular John Keawe on Tuesday evenings.
