Pentair manual doesn't indicate what this means especially since cell light is solid green. Reading 3500ppm at both returns, 68F water temp. Inspected cell blades and they are clean and clear.This should make the cell think the flow switch is closed.. If that does not turn off the red no flow light, then the cell is bad. This is a test only. you do NOT want to leave it with the flow switch shorted, as the cell can explode if the flow switch is not working.. Does not happen often, but does happen. In short, we just had the pool opened (we use a company to open and close the pool and I do the servicing in season) and the flow switch on our IC-20 is red though there is plenty of flow.Pentair SWGs have a specific orientation relative to flow. Also, just keep increasing your RPMs until the flow light turns green. It all depends on your plumbing and head loss. My IC40 shuts down if my pump speed is lower than 1600RPM.
